Reginald served as Production Designer and Director’s Assistant on a feature documentary called IZ where he led the art team to build a boat for production in only five days. It will be appearing on Netflix soon. Additionally, he was an Art PA and actor in Phantoms, a feature film that’ll play on streaming services this year. Gibson was also a Props and Wardrobe PA on a NASA short film called Family Tree. So far, Reginald has written, directed, acted, and crewed on more than 20 short films. His favorite project is his family drama thesis film, Pinky Promise, which will make film festival runs this year.

Reginald is also heavily involved in the community. His most recent project was the 3 on 3 League of Love Basketball Tournament he organized and hosted to raise funds for the Full Sail Food Pantry and the International Student Society.  He won three badges including a mega badge for his service to ISS and the community. Gibson regularly volunteers with Full Sail University’s Pure Motivation community service group for trash pick ups, sporting events, fundraisers and more.

Gibson plans to write and direct low-budget feature films and television episodes until he is noticed. He ultimately aspires to become just the second notable Bahamian filmmaker, following the late great Sidney Poitier. Reginald aims to one day become a member of both the Writers and Directors Guild of America, and eventually bring filmmaking to The Bahamas.
