I completed a case analysis for my Spring 2020 Media Law and Ethics class. I researched the Edwards v. South Carolina 1963 case, which was about a large group of students who protested in the front of the South Carolina State House.

Police were called to the scene, and after refusing to leave, the students were arrested. Edwards, one of the students, felt that they were wrongfully arrested and their Right to Assemble was disregarded. He took the case to the Supreme Court.

I analyzed the case and researched its facts, legal rules, reasoning, and more. Click the highlighted link to read the case analysis.
